Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Mark had the sloppy joe, I had the Monte Cristo.
Great food, great wine, fantastic view! -

Dined al fresco while enjoying panoramic view of the Coast. Such a treat to walk the same greens of golf legends during the annual Farmers Open.
Maya was our sweet hostess & Kyle was our outstanding server, serving the best customer experience in my opinion.
I dined with a frequent visitor
We had the Homemade Potato Chips & Onion Dip to start.
Delicious.
Followed by Smoked Crispy Wings and The Grill "Classic" Sloppy Joe
Our server was superb, brought out a wet napkin as both items were rather saucy!
No room for dessert but will definitely be back. -

I was here for a lunch after the driving range. The view here is beautiful and peaceful. Fresh smell of grass and great atmosphere. Service was very attentive, but the food I ordered was completely tasteless - I got the rotisserie chicken avocado sandwich and the bread was dry, soaked in mayo, chicken very oily, bland and just lacked any flavor! Fries and drink were ok, but dissatisfied and disappointed with the sandwich. Would expect more from such an establishment at Torrey Pines Golf Course.

TLDR : go for the amazing atmosphere and view and service, but do not expect greater than average food.
Came here for lunch on a Friday with my family. We mistakenly came through AR Valentien (the REALLY expensive restaurant at the lodge) and had to go through a bit of a maze. But the grill is situated right at the golf course with both inside and outside seating. If the weather permits SIT OUTSIDE!!!
We shared:
- Drugstore Hamburger (good but expensive. Decent amount of fries. Noticed a lot of other people got this)
- Quinoa and Burrata Salad (pretty good, lots of root vegetables, celery, etc. burrata was nice and pesto and quinoa in generous amounts. Also prob not worth $16, but was good)
- Cobb Salad (do not get this !! Basic romaine leaves and not that much avocado.. blue cheese got mushy, ... very not worth the price)
- fish tacos (sister said these were good)
- shishito appetizer (good but on the lower half of shishito peppers that I've had. Very greasy. Comes with bacon bits and a thousand island-ish sauce)
All in all, it's a great place to look out at the golf course and ocean and eat and be around rich while people who golf for fun. Food is nothing to write home about. -

Dined here twice during my stay at the lodge for breakfast and enjoyed both of my meals very much. It was great that they opened at 6am, especially since I was coming from the east coast. The first morning I went with the roasted veggies, poached eggs, and pesto quinoa dish. This was packed with so many awesome veggies and was a great option for a healthy balanced meal of protein, carbs, and fats. The second morning I went with 2 over medium eggs, chicken sausage and rye toast. Simple but executed very well.
Didn't try lunch or dinner here but I'm sure they are great as well.
Fantastic service (similar to everything else at the lodge)!!
